Weekly Special Trains to Guwahati

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Southern Railway will run weekly special trains between Kochuveli and Guwahati – via Perambur, without touching Chennai Central – to clear the extra rush of passengers.

Train No. 06336 Kochuveli – Guwahati weekly special train will leave Kochuveli at 12 noon from November 2 to January 25 (Sundays), leave Perambur at 5.20 am on Mondays and arrive in Guwahati at 8.15 am on Wednesdays.

Train No. 06335 Guwahati – Kochuveli weekly special train will leave Guwahati  at 11.25 pm from November 5 to January 28  (Wednesdays), leave Perambur at 4.30 am on Saturdays and arrive in Kochuveli at 10.30 pm on Saturdays.

The composition of the trains will be 11 Sleeper Class, seven General Second Class and two luggage-cum-brake van coaches.

The trains will stop at Kollam, Kayamkulam, Chengannur, Tiruvalla, Kottayam, Ernakulam Town, Aluva, Thrissur, Palakkad, Podanur, Tiruppur, Erode, Salem, Jolarpettai, Katpadi, Arakkonam, Perambur, Gudur, Nellore, Ongole, Tenali, New Guntur, Vijayawada, Eluru, Rajahmundry and Samalkot.  Visakhapatnam, Vizianagaram, Srikakulam Road, Palasa, Brahmapur, Khurda Road, Bhubaneswar, Cuttack, Bhadrak, Balasore, Hijili, Midnapur, Bishnupur, Bankura, Adra, Asansol, Durgapur, Rampurhat, Malda Town, Barsoi Jn, Kishanganj, New Jalpaiguri, Dhupguri, New Coochbehar, New Alipurduar, Koarajhah, New Bongaigaon Jn, Goalpara Town and Kamakhya are the other stops.
