Special Pilgrim Tourist Train From Secunderabad on November 12

HYDERABAD: The Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation Ltd (IRCTC), a public sector unit under the Union ministry of railways is operating a special pilgrim tourist train from Secunderabad on November 12 midnight.

This pilgrim special tourist train is called Temple Tour of South India Special Train. The train will originate from Secunderabad railway station and will run via Warangal, Khammam, Vijayawada, Ongole, Nellore and Renigunta.

The tour period is seven days. It leaves  Secunderabad on November 12 midnight and will return on November 19, covering historical and pilgrimage destinations like Tiruchirapally, Srirangam  Sriranganatha Swamy Temple, Brahadeshwara temple, Rameswaram Ramanathaswamy temple, Madurai Meenakshi temple, Kanyakumari Kumari Amman Temple, Vivekananda Rock Memorial, Padmanabha Swamy temple and Kovalam beach.

Package includes : Confirmed train accommodation, food, tour escort and travel insurance.

Package Tariff (all prices mentioned are per person) including all taxes for standard sleeper (`6,370), Comfort, AC 3 Tier (`13,790) Deluxe AC 2 Tier (`18,550).

The trains would cater vegetarian food, offer tour escorts and security in each coach, public address system for announcements and religious discourses and would carry only tourists. The package is all inclusive and categorised as standard, comfort and deluxe. The train tours can also be availed by government/PSU staff as part of their LTC tour guidelines.
