Singapore team explores the possibilities of investment for Jaipur’s metro phase 2 project

JAIPUR: A team from Singapore had parleys with the officials of state government and JMRC officials on Wednesday. This meeting was organized to explore the possibilities of investment on public private partnership for the phase 2 of Jaipur metro.

As the phase 2 is a project having estimated cost of Rs 10,000 crore, the meeting was fruitful as the Singapore team got the detailed project report and they will speak to various investors in their country and said that they will revert to JMRC within a month.

The team comprising Liyan Chev Te, divisional director, Singapore international enterprise (SIE), K Jhee Jhiyan and Amita Mehta, central director, SIE arrived and had a meeting with the officials including additional chief secretary, UDH, Ashok Jain, finance secretary, Dinkar and CMD, Jaipur Metro, Nihal Chand Goyal and others.
