Internet roundup: Indian Railways, Delhi Police & NITI Aayog


The Indian Railways is conducting online recruitment exams for the vacancies of senior section engineers and junior engineers starting the 26th of August till the 4th of September, reports the Better India. Overall, there are 3,273 vacancies for these posts.

The exams are being held in 242 cities across the country including the Northeast and Jammu and Kashmir. The organization mentions that having the exams online will help increasing transparency and credibility of the exam.

The application process for the exam was also conducted online for which over 18 lakh candidates had applied. The agency did not mention any plans for providing facilities to take exams for other posts online. Our Indian Railways coverage here.
