Close to 26 lakh people take the Delhi Metro every day. The popularity of the rail network, without which life in the Capital is unimaginable for many now, has resulted in the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) expanding its massive network.

Work on Metro’s phase III is currently in full swing. Now, the 190km-long Metro network, with 140km under its third phase, is planning its next ambitious phase.

After the completion of the third phase, the total length would be 330km with 40 lakh footfall expected daily.
